Riedmuller named to the first team for second straight season

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Three Eastern Florida State College women’s volleyball players were named to the all-Citrus Conference Team during the FCSAA Division I Volleyball banquet on Thursday night in Fort Myers.

Sophomore libero Gaia Riedmuller was named to the first team for the second straight season. The Bolzano, Italy native heads into the tournament with 302 digs which is fifth best in the state and her 3.97 digs per set is fourth in Region 8.

Teammates Sofia Kamke and Dominae Jordan were named to the second team.

Kamke, a sophomore outside hitter from Santa Catarina, Brazil, has 203 kills and 137 digs this season for the Titans.

Jordan, a freshman outside hitter from Alpharetta, Georgia, has 149 kills this season with 108 digs in her first season with the Titans.

Eastern Florida State College will begin the FCSAA Division I Volleyball Championships Friday at 10 a.m. against Polk State College at Florida Southwestern.
