Cocoa Police Traffic officers are seeking public assistance in locating a suspect vehicle and driver involved in a hit-and-run crash with injuries that took place on Monday morning. (Cocoa PD image)

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa Police Traffic officers are seeking public assistance in locating a suspect vehicle and driver involved in a hit-and-run crash with injuries that took place on Monday morning.

“The crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. on Monday at the intersection of U.S. 1 and State Road 520. The suspect vehicle appears to be a white Jeep or similar-style SUV,” said a Cocoa Police spokesperson.

According to reports, there should be damage to the front left side of the vehicle, possibly missing the front left fender flare. There may have also been an airbag deployment.
