BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA — Motorists are advised of an upcoming road and lane closure on Weslaco Street SE, just northeast of Quentin Avenue in Palm Bay at the Florida Power & Light easement, due to scheduled utility construction work.

The work began Wednesday, June 25, at 7 a.m. and will continue through Wednesday, July 2, at 5 p.m. Cypress Gulf, the contractor for the Emerald Lake development, has closed the lane to conduct utility-related construction as part of the ongoing development project.

To facilitate this work, temporary lane shifts and a road closure have been implemented. Channelizing devices will be in place to direct traffic safely through the area. Drivers are urged to use caution, follow posted detour signs, and plan travel routes accordingly to avoid delays.

This work is essential for supporting infrastructure improvements in the area as the Emerald Lake development progresses.
