Heartland Will Bring Classic Rock to the Merritt Island Moose Lodge January 17

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – The Space Coast will ring in the new year with the sound of classic rock as Heartland Hits takes the stage Saturday, January 17, at the Merritt Island Moose Lodge.

The concert begins at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m. Seating will be arranged at round tables of eight, and a full liquor bar will be available along with drinks and snacks for purchase.

Tickets are priced at $35 and $45 and can be purchased through ShowTickets.live.

Presented by Allengang Entertainment, the show celebrates the heartland rock genre made famous by artists such as Bob Seger, John Mellencamp, Tom Petty, and Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Heartland rock emerged in the late 1970s and 1980s, blending elements of rock, folk, country, and rhythm and blues while telling stories rooted in blue-collar life, American dreams, and everyday struggles.

Heartland Hits pays tribute to that era with a six-piece band led by Brazilian-born performer Zee R, who has spent more than 25 years entertaining audiences through recordings and live performances around the world.

Allengang Entertainment CEO Stan Allen said the production continues the company’s tradition of bringing high-quality tribute shows to Brevard County. He noted that Zee R’s ability to channel the sound and spirit of heartland rock legends, supported by a band of accomplished musicians, makes Heartland Hits a standout performance.

The January 17 show is part of a broader 2026 tribute lineup at the Merritt Island Moose Lodge, which will feature tributes to artists and groups including Journey, Styx, ABBA, the Eagles, the Blues Brothers, Toby Keith, and Neil Diamond. The venue offers a 7,200-square-foot ballroom equipped with new stage lighting and a state-of-the-art sound system.

The Merritt Island Moose Lodge is located at 3150 North Courtenay Parkway and serves nearly 4,000 local members.
