BPN STAR PHYSICIAN

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Ask Dr. David Badolato what matters the most to him and he’ll respond with a single word – healing.

BROTHER PHYSICIANS: Dr. David Badolato, right, and his brother Steve Badolato, with Viera High athletic trainer Megan Heronemus.

A successful physician who is board certified in family medicine, Badolato grew up in Venice, Florida and chose his career carefully.

“I got into medicine because of the inspiration of a good friend’s father who was a small town doctor,” Badolato said. “He was my mentor.”

He graduated from the University of South Florida’s School of Medicine in Tampa and then completed residency at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville.

Setting up a practice in Melbourne, Badolato saw a need in the community and helped create Premier Urgent Care, where patients have come to appreciate his knowledge and attention to quality care.

Honored by the Brevard Physicians Network as a top performer for 2011 for his Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set care and service rating, Badolato takes great pride in trying to exceed every patient’s expectation.

“I got into medicine because of the inspiration of a good friend’s father who was a small town doctor,” Badolato said. “He was my mentor.”

“I make it a personal goal with each patient to know what services they are eligible to receive including preventative and chronic care management,” he said.

He also maintains an active presence in the community, whether it is serving as a sports physician for high school teams or for his work with the Doctors Goodwill Foundation, an organization dedicated to promoting health-related education, research and participation in local and international charitable medical missions.

Badolato leads a staff of 24 employees who are attuned to placing patient’s needs above everything else.

“Because we have trained the staff to be so patient-centric oriented, they take pride in making sure the T’s are crossed and the i’s are dotted,” he said.

Premier Urgent Care and Badolato Family Health are at 6300 North Wickham Road, Suite 100, in Melbourne. For more information log on to PremierUrgentCare.com or call 321-242-SICK (7425).
