BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Some days, your typical morning walk with your dog, turns out to be not so typical.
Like the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 1, when Deputies were called to a residence by a neighbor who was enjoying his morning walk with his dog, when he noticed a smashed window and what appeared to be blood on the front door of his neighbor’s house.
Once Deputies arrived on scene, they found a male subject inside lying on the bed with blood everywhere.
The subject, ultimately identified as Jonathan Leaf, woke up just as Deputies entered the residence to check his well-being.
According to Leaf, he was unsure of the previous night’s events that led him to that house, but at some point, he decided to break a large bay window to gain entry to the house, which as you can see turned out to be a bad idea on many levels.

During his attempts to get inside, Leaf’s arm was severely cut by the broken glass, leading to his trail of blood across the front of the residence and on the interior.
Due to what I’m guessing was severe pain and loss of blood, Leaf passed out on a bed in the room with the broken window, until he was observed inside the house by the neighbor.
As a result of his actions he was taken to the hospital for some stitches and then was escorted to the Brevard County Jail where he didn’t have to break in, but instead was walked in by Deputies for Burglary and Criminal Mischief.
