Nine Florida Tech Panther Swimmers Qualify for the NCAA National Championships in March

three swimmers will compete in nine different events

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Nine swimmers from Florida Tech qualified for the 2023 NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships on Wednesday night following a press release by the NCAA.
Daniel Aizenberg, Nicole Rautemberg, and Katherine Helminiak qualified individually for the championships and the three of them will compete in nine different events.
Aizenberg, the 2023 SSC 100 Backstroke Champion, will compete for the most in Indianapolis as the Maale Adumim, Israel native will swim in four individual races and the men’s 400 medley relay. His four individual events will be the 50 Freestyle, 100 & 200 Backstroke, and the 100 Fly!
Rautemberg qualified for four different races, including the women’s 200 Freestyle relay. Her three individual races will be the 50, 100, and 200 Freestyle races.
Helminiak is the Panther’s third Individual swimmer to compete at this year’s nationals and will race in two events, the 200 and 500 Freestyle races.
Along with Aizenberg, the men’s 400 medley relay team will also bring along to Indianapolis, Connor Orth, John Fonnotto, and Nathaniel Allen.
Rautenberg will be joined in the women’s 200 Freestyle Relay by Harper Powell, Debora Xavier, and Shaelyn Rutta
The 2023 NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships will take place from March 7-11 at the IU Natatorium on the campus of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
