UPDATE: Cocoa Man Killed, Three Seriously Injured in Four-Vehicle Crash Near Kennedy Space Center

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — A Cocoa man was killed early Friday morning in a four-vehicle crash on Beach Road east of Titusville Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash happened at about 6:24 a.m. when a 63-year-old man driving a 2017 Chevy Silverado westbound on Beach Road veered into the eastbound lanes for unknown reasons.
The Silverado sideswiped a 2017 Ford F-250 before colliding with a 2025 Dodge Ram 2500 and a 2011 Ford F-250.
The driver of the Silverado, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been notified, investigators said.
The driver of the Ford F-250 that was sideswiped, a 60-year-old man from Liberty, Tennessee, was not injured.
The 51-year-old driver of the Dodge Ram from Clewiston, along with the 60-year-old driver of the second Ford F-250 from Titusville and his passenger, a 56-year-old man from Mims, were all transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
The roadway was closed for several hours while troopers investigated. The crash remains under investigation by FHP.
