Titusville Police are asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects who allegedly fired multiple rounds into an occupied residence early Saturday morning.
BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA — Titusville Police are asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects who allegedly fired multiple rounds into an occupied residence early Saturday morning.
According to the Titusville Police Department, officers responded to the 1400 block of Thomas Street at approximately 4:30 a.m. on July 25 after receiving reports of gunfire.
Detectives say the investigation determined that two unidentified suspects walked up to the residence before opening fire, striking the occupied home multiple times. Despite the dangerous incident, no one inside the residence was injured.
After the shooting, the suspects reportedly fled the area on foot before getting into a waiting vehicle and leaving the scene.
Investigators are attempting to identify a newer-model white sedan believed to be connected to the incident. The vehicle is described as possibly being either a Mercedes-Benz or a Lincoln.
Police are encouraging residents and business owners in the surrounding area to review surveillance or doorbell camera footage recorded around the time of the shooting.
Detectives say even video that may not appear significant could provide valuable evidence in the ongoing investigation.
“Firing into an occupied home demonstrates a reckless disregard for human life and places innocent families at unnecessary risk,” said Interim Chief Wright.
“The safety of our residents remains our highest priority, and we are committed to identifying those responsible and holding them fully accountable. We are asking our community to partner with us by reviewing surveillance footage and reporting any information, no matter how small it may seem. Together, we can help ensure Titusville remains a safe place to live, work, and raise a family.”
