Astronaut opens the season this Friday against East River
BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – The Astronaut War Eagles are preparing for their Kickoff Classic opener this Friday against East River High School.
Head coach Logan Hallock and his staff face more challenges this season as the War Eagles move from Class 2A to Class 3A. How will Astronaut navigate a difficult schedule?
After finishing last season 5-5 and missing the playoffs, there were still some positives to take away from the 2025 War Eagles team.
Many questions need to be answered this season, especially regarding who will take the snaps at quarterback. However, Astronaut possesses several skilled players who can make an impact.
The majority of the offensive production came from players such as King Rainey, Jaquan Hagans, Drekwon Jones and Jayden Brown, none of whom are seniors. Getting production from underclassmen is something the program can build on for the future.
Zane Garcia of the Space Coast Daily team spoke with Florida International University commit Adarian Dotson, who will anchor the offensive line, and Kedron Davis, a safety and cornerback who will anchor the defense.
