Palm Bay Fire Rescue Puts Out Brush Fire Near Rostock Circle NW, Saves Four Homes

Florida Forest Service forecast fire danger indices are at very high for Brevard County

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Fire Rescue’s Engine 2, Engine 3, Engine 5, Brush 22, Brush 3, Brush 5, Tender 4 and District 2 were in mop-up mode on Thursday evening during a brush fire near Rostock Circle NW.

According to Palm Bay Fire Rescue, as many as 4-5 homes were in danger before Palm Bay’s C-Shift crews handled the one acre, heavy fuel blaze.

The Florida Forest Service forecast fire danger indices are at very high for Brevard County.
