Eastern Florida State College Volleyball Trio Named to All-Suncoast Conference Teams

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Three Eastern Florida State College women’s volleyball players were honored during the FCSAA/NJCAA District Volleyball Championships banquet Thursday evening on the Melbourne campus of Eastern Florida State College.

Freshman libero Gaia Riedmuller was named to the All-Suncoast Conference first team while outside hitter Sofia Kamke and setter Emma Kiser both were named to the second team.

Riedmuller finished the regular season with 337 digs which lead Region 8 and is averaging 4.06 digs per set which is fourth in Region 8.

Kamke finished with 225 kills which are sixth in Region 8 and lead the state in service aces per set at 0.58.

Kiser has recorded 151 kills and 131 digs this season with 262 assists.

All three have been named Region 8 Players of the Week this season.

The Titans will play in the first round of the FCSAA/NJCAA District Volleyball Championships Friday at noon against Hillsborough Community College.

The tournament begins at 9 a.m. at Titan Field House on the Melbourne campus of Eastern Florida State College.
