Three Palm Bay Police Recruits Advance After Graduating Eastern Florida State Law Enforcement Academy

Trio completed required training and testing to become certified law enforcement officers

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA — Three recruits with the Palm Bay Police Department are stepping into the next phase of their careers after graduating from the Eastern Florida State College Law Enforcement Academy and successfully passing their state certification exams.

The trio has completed the required training and testing to become certified law enforcement officers in Florida, marking a significant milestone as they transition from academy instruction to active duty.

The academy program includes extensive preparation in areas such as criminal law, patrol procedures, firearms training, defensive tactics, and emergency response.

After completing the program, recruits must pass the state officer certification exam to qualify for service.
